Hibachi at home, answered

Pricing & booking

How much does hibachi at home cost in Florida?

Adult guests are $55 each with two proteins, house salad, hibachi fried rice and grilled vegetables. Children under 12 are $30 with one protein and all of the sides. Every party has a $550 minimum. Travel, tax and gratuity may apply depending on your city, and we'll include them in the final price we text you. See the full menu and pricing.

Is there a party minimum?

Yes. The minimum is $550 in food, which is about 10 adults. Smaller, more intimate dinners are welcome and are billed at the minimum.

What's included in the price?

Your private chef, the hibachi grill, all ingredients and the live show. Your chef sets up, cooks every plate in front of your guests and packs everything away when dinner is done.

How do I book?

Fill out the booking form or call or text 917-590-7038. We'll text you to confirm your chef, date and final price. A deposit secures your date, and the balance is due on the day of your event.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can for Saturdays, holidays, spring break and the winter season, since those dates go first. Weeknights and summer dates are usually easier to get. Short notice? Text us. We'll always check.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

A deposit secures your date, and the balance is due on the day of your event. Card payments may carry a processing fee. Cancellations 4 or more days ahead are free. Cancellations within the final 2 days may carry a fee.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity isn't included in the per-guest price and may apply depending on your city. We'll spell out your full total, including any travel, tax and gratuity, when we confirm your booking.

Locations & travel

Which Florida cities do you serve?

Chefs are on regular rotation in Miami, Hialeah, Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville and Panama City Beach. We travel on request across the rest of Florida, including Fort Lauderdale, the Palm Beaches, Kissimmee, Sarasota, Naples, the Keys, Destin and 30A. See all Florida locations.

Is there a travel fee?

Travel fees may apply outside our regular-service cities, especially for longer drives like the Keys. We quote any travel fee up front with your final price.

Can you cook at a villa or vacation rental?

Yes, as long as the property allows outdoor cooking. Please confirm with your host or property manager before booking.

Can you come to a gated community or club?

Yes. Let us know about any gate, vendor or insurance requirements when we confirm, so your chef can get in without delays.

Setup & space

What do we need to provide?

Tables and chairs for your guests, plates, utensils and drinks, and a safe, level, open-air cooking area. Your chef brings the grill, all ingredients and the show.

Where does the chef set up?

Anywhere outdoors that's level, open to the air and clear of anything flammable: a pool deck, ground-level patio, backyard, driveway or open lanai. Not sure your space works? Text us a photo.

Can the chef cook on a condo balcony?

Many condos and HOAs don't allow grills on balconies. We need an open-air space with good airflow, away from anything flammable. A pool deck, ground-level patio or open lanai usually works best.

Can you cook indoors or inside a screened lanai?

We cook outdoors only, with good airflow. A fully enclosed lanai doesn't work, but an open-sided patio, the deck outside the screen or an open garage usually does.

What if it rains?

Florida weather moves quickly. Plan a covered outdoor backup such as a covered patio, carport or open garage, and contact us early if the forecast changes.

Can you cook on the beach?

We don't cook on the sand. A beach-house deck, patio or driveway nearby gives you the same view with a safe, level setup.

Food & allergies

What proteins can we choose?

Each adult chooses two: chicken, steak, shrimp, scallops, salmon, or tofu and vegetables. Upgrade to filet mignon (+$5) or lobster tail (+$10), or add an extra protein. Children choose one.

Can you accommodate allergies?

Our standard menu contains no nuts or sesame. Gluten-free requests can often be accommodated, and you're welcome to provide gluten-free soy sauce. Please share any allergies before your event.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes. Vegetarian and vegan guests can enjoy tofu and extra grilled vegetables. Let us know ahead of time so your chef can plan the cooking order.

Can we add appetizers or extra sides?

Yes. Edamame ($5), pork gyoza ($8 for six), extra fried rice (+$5) and chow mein (+$5) can be added for the table.

Can the chef cook food we provide?

We're unable to cook outside proteins. Every ingredient comes from your chef so we can stand behind the food and the show.
